The label was founded by Melissa So in late 2019 on a simple idea: that a wedding gown should feel modern, be beautifully made, and be within reach of brides everywhere. Melissa designs every gown in the collection herself, and each one is made to order — silhouettes cut to move with the body rather than hold it in place, restrained detail, and fabrics chosen for how they fall rather than how they photograph on a hanger.
What began as a small Australian label is now carried by bridal boutiques across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Miss Scarlett gowns are available in select boutiques across Australia and beyond. They are made to order and fitted in person, which is why they are sold through boutiques rather than online — a gown like this is chosen by trying it on.
Your appointment is private and unhurried. A stylist will talk through silhouettes, fabrics, and fit, pull the gowns that suit what you have in mind, and take you through measurements, ordering, and the alterations your gown will need closer to the day. Ask the boutique for their lead time when you order and work backwards from your wedding date with room to spare — alterations sit at the end of that timeline and need two or three fittings of their own.
If the collection is not stocked near you, watch for a trunk show — a limited-time event where the full collection travels to a boutique for a few days.
